A Carlsbad native and Farmington Municipal Schools coach will be inducted to the New Mexico High School Coaches Association Hall of Honor in July. Roy Johnson was a two-time state wrestling champion at Carlsbad High School and is an assistant softball coach at Piedra Vista High School in Farmington, according to a news release from Farmington Municipal Schools (FMS). He has coached for nearly 50 years, according to the release.
